The Provincial Government led by Governor Jerry Dalipog together with Vice Governor Glenn D. Prudenciano, some Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan and department heads, received two Conditional Matching Grant to Provinces (CMGP) Annual Governance Reform Awards from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) during the flag-raising ceremony, at the Capitol Compound, Lagawe on January 11, 2021.

The province was awarded as 5th place in the Regional Ranking and 23rd Place in the National Ranking in the Overall Performance Assessment on Absorptive Capacity in the Implementation of CMGP Projects from 2017 to 2019 and 2020.

The other award received is the 5th place in the National Ranking and 3rd place in the Regional Ranking for the Over-all Performance Assessment on the Compliance to the 2020 CMGP Fund Release Requirements.

The awards are in recognition to the efforts of the Province in the procurement and the implementation of projects, actual performance on the implementation of CMGP projects, and achievement of governance reform targets as placed in the Provincial Governance Reform Roadmap of Ifugao.

In his acceptance message, Governor Dalipog commended the efforts of all officials and personnel who were involved in the projects and expressed his gratitude for a job well done.

CMGP is a governance reform program that supports the sustainable development of provincial roads by providing capacity development activities to support the reform of Local Road Management, the public financial management in the Provincial Government and to fund the repair, rehabilitation, and improvement of roads and bridges.

The plaques were awarded by DILG Provincial Director Regina Elizabeth L. Mammag.
