Governor Jerry Dalipog represented by his Executive Assistant James Damoyan together with DA-CAR Regional Technical Director Danilo Daguio, PRDP North Luzon Deputy Project Director Elma S. Mananes, Provincial Agriculturist Domingo Mariano, Hojap MPC Officers and members, and other concern agencies witnessed the inauguration and turnover ceremony of the 3-storey building to Hojap Multipurpose Cooperative funded by the Department of Agriculture’s Philippine Rural Development Program (DA-PRDP) on July 22, 2021.
Executive Assistant James Damoyan relayed the message of Governor Dalipog congratulating the management, board of directors, and the members of the cooperative for being resilient in responding to the bulk requirements of the Project to construct the building on time. He also implied that the construction and upgrading of their facilities is a big challenge for the cooperative as many are looking into the management’s good practices.
Shirley Tagtag, Manager of the cooperative is very thankful to DA-PRDP, and the Provincial Government for the support they extended during the implementation of the project. She also added that the facility will help increase the productivity and marketability of coffee products and eventually farm household income of coffee farmers in the municipality and the province as a whole.
