Governor Jerry Dalipog conducted final round of inspection on April 8, 2021 to make sure that the New Building for Covid-19 patients at Panopdopan District Hospital is ready for occupancy.

Dalipog said that the 14-bed capacity isolation facility was fast-tracked due to the surge of Covid-19 patients to provide needed immediate care to the patients. The Region II Trauma and Medical Center (formerly Veterans RH) informed the province that they will prioritize their residents due to their limited isolation facility.

The building was designed to have a patient per room with comfortable bed, rest room, table and electric fan with separate washing area for health personnel.
