PLGU GIVES FOUR BRAND NEW AMBULANCES TO PROVINCIAL HOSPITALS
The Provincial Government of Ifugao, led by Governor Jerry U. Dalipog together with Vice-Governor Glenn D. Prudenciano, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) Members, and the Chiefs of Hospitals of Hungduan, Mayoyao, Lamut Provincial Hospitals attended the blessing and turn-over of four brand new ambulances for said hospitals during the Flag Raising Ceremony, held at the Provincial Capitol Building, today, December 7, 2020.
These new ambulances will be deployed to the above-mentioned hospitals for faster and better delivery of health services to the people of Ifugao. One unit ambulance each will be given to Hungduan and Mayoyao Provincial Hospital while two will be assigned to the Lamut Provincial Hospital.
Meanwhile, during the meeting with the Chief of Hospitals of said municipalities together with their respective drivers, Governor Dalipog reminded them again on the sole purpose of having these vehicles which is to save lives and not the opposite.
Also, Governor shared some advices and encouraged those who will drive said ambulances to drive responsibly, observe traffic rules, and always do the 5 pre-trip procedures to avoid unwanted circumstances. He also emphasized on the issue on vehicle maintenance that should be strictly followed in order to maintain and sustain the vehicle’s performance that equates to its utilization for a longer period of time.
Further, he also shared his plans of purchasing automotive tool and equipment for maintenance purposes and hiring well-equipped personnel who will assist in keeping all government vehicles safe and usable at all times.
Rev. Father Revin Tuguinay officiated the blessing of said ambulances.
